Maxim Crane assists MasTec Civil at the Nashville Airport

Crane operators coordinating at a construction site for heavy lifting projects.

Now, more than ever, we have needs in this country for infrastructure.  Maxim Crane contributes to every civil contractor that has a need for heavy lifting, heavy hauling, engineering. I certainly know that Maxim can compete with anybody, will be competitive on price, and it allows us, as contractors, to do what we do best and that’s build infrastructure for America.

My name is Jeff Anderson. I’m an area manager for MasTech Civil. MasTech Civil does specialize in infrastructure, heavy civil construction.

Currently, we are utilizing Maxim Crane to set bridge beams. We have 15 beams on the bridge behind me. The importance of this job is huge for both the city and the airport. Relocating Donaldson further to the east allows the airport to expand their loop road.

I recommend Maxim Crane to anybody who asks. It’s a relationship based industry that we’re in so having a partner in this goes a long way. Having in-house engineering and 3D lift plans developed with the crane becomes very useful. It saves a lot of time and saves a lot of steps from having to reach out to somebody else.

We set milestones and we set goals to get these bridges complete, but if the cranes can’t come and set the beams then we’ve lost whatever time we’ve gained. So, having a local presence that can come out to visit the site and be flexible and allow us to maintain our schedule is very important.

It’s a rewarding feeling to help a community out and provide them better access to the airport, the interstate, whether it be anything – you know, safer and more reliable. It’s something I take pride in.

We don’t have the capacity to do this without a partner like Maxim. It’s a call I make every time I’m looking for a crane.
